Welcome to the Calúnica Shop. My name is Miriam Plata, and making eco friendly clothing is my dream come true!
This is my way of turning a passion for design and organic textiles into positive change. Here on the Central Coast of California, in my little solar-powered studio (which was once home to many many goats), I do everything from design, pattern making, dying, cutting, sewing and screen printing organic clothing. This is how I express my creative energy and show my love for people and the planet.
Supporting small slow fashion brands like Calúnica means saying no to the second largest polluting industry in the world, standing against modern day slavery in sweatshops, and allowing artists like me to do what we love.
